At Spyns we always make sure there are cold refreshments around for our clients wherever we go. This may be difficult with the Olympic committee banning all drinks and food being taken into the Olympic venues. However there will still be free drinking water and stalls selling refreshments so all is not lost to terrorism. With all the security and planning in place, London 2012 is likely to be tightly protected ship. If you would like to travel in style and have a luxury holiday at the Olympics with guides, hotels, attractions, and the VIP Spyns treatment. SPECTATORS will be banned from taking food and drink into London’s 2012 Olympics as part of an anti-terror campaign.
Mobile phones, brollies, flasks, whistles, Frisbees vuvuzelas and even branded T-shirts and baseball caps will be outlawed under the harsh “ban on fun”.
All bags will be X-rayed in airport-style security machines to prevent any illegal items being smuggled into the venue.

Organisers insist the severe crackdown is vital to snuff out terrorist threats, political statements and stop attempts at guerilla marketing.
They fear the 2012 Olympics could prove to be a prime target for attacks.
Details of the banned items have been revealed in the terms and conditions released with the Olympic tickets that are now on sale.
A spokesman for the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games claimed that its concern is for the “safety and security of athletes, spectators and those working at venues”.

He added: “Small amounts of food might be allowed in but large picnic hampers will not. Bringing liquids into venues is still under discussion.”
Free drinking water will be available at venues.

Meanwhile, it has been announced the Olympic Park will get the same postcode as Walford in TV soap EastEnders.
Stratford, east London, will have an E20 code.
